because those are what one is limited to in classic D2 anyway.
What I *can* remember is that it used Darkglow armor, a partial set, and Shard. until I found that *one* budget hammerdin build that no longer exists on the internet, but changed my fortune forever. I remember it, because I was a perpetually poor noob with no hope of ever changing that. I recall that I once found a hammerdin (Blessed Hammer paladin) build back in Diablo II v1.10b, when I still played classic, that was geared with nothing but normal set and unique items and could effectively run CS and Diablo in a full party.
